Candles are welcome at Afrah Event Center, but they must be in a protective glass, such as a votive. Open flames are strictly prohibited. LED candles are highly encouraged at events with children present.
All decorations must be approved by a Afrah Event Space representative prior to the scheduled event.
Yes, our AV and PA systems can be connected to your devices, multiple flat-screen TV’s, wireless microphones, uplighting, lasers, fog machines, & more. Some items are available at an additional cost.
We provide basic Wi-Fi; a password will be given prior to the event.

No, the Renting Party is responsible for providing on-site security. However, we do provide a preferred security list in the contract.

The event should be over and cleaned up prior to the end time. The lights will be turned on 30 minutes prior to the end time.
It is highly recommended but not required that clients select from Afrah Event Center Preferred Caterers list. This list is comprised of licensed caterers who have an established relationship with us and are familiar with our facility and the required rules and regulations. If you decide to select your own personal caterer, you are required to pay our outside vendors’ fee.
Alcoholic beverages being served or sold must be handled by a bartender with a valid liquor sales license and permit, or a caterer with a valid license and liquor sales permit.
There is a strict no-smoking policy inside Afrah Event Center.
